Description

The Marketing Assistant supports the Marketing Department in the coordination of events, management of Marketing stock, processing of branded collateral orders, and execution of marketing and branding Initiatives. The role provides administrative, logistical, and project support across a range of marketing Activities, contributing to brand consistency and effective campaign execution. This role offers strong exposure to marketing operations, event coordination, supplier management, and Brand administration.

Responsibilities

• Assist in planning and executing both internal and external events, including company gatherings, trade shows, and promotional events
• • Ensure branding and promotional materials are available and set up at events
• Coordinate event logistics, supplier communication, and on-the-ground activities
• Support with post-event evaluations and reporting
• Monitor and manage marketing stock, including promotional items, corporate gifts, and branded clothing
• Track inventory levels and ensure adequate stock is available for events and campaigns

Qualifications

• Highest Qualification to be Grade 12
• Unemployed youth who have not previously participated in the Yes4Youth initiative
• Aged between 18 and 29
• Must be a South African citizen
• Must reside close to the workplace area
